Hi everyone! I'm sorry for writing this in english but my german is lousy. Just wanted to say that I'm building the first Kiebitz in Sweden (maybe it's the first in Scandinavia?). I have been planning this for a couple of years now, on and off, and now I finally have a kit at home (yes I am doing it the lazy way).
It's been a long process with paper work and a lot of contacts with authorities in Sweden and Germany, but now everything should be settled. I have also had alot of help from people at Stemke, Michael Platzer and especially Jens on this forum. Big thank you for him!
In my opinion mr Platzers aeroplane is the most beautiful UL-biplane around.
My engine of choise will be the Mikron IIIB.
Hopefully more Kiebits-builders will follow in Sweden.
Hi Paul, Kiebitz rules the world! I just moved to the United States and part of my Kiebitz project ist still in Germany, but will hopefully be here in October... so I hope to finish the first one in America. By the way, I love Sweden and got important inspiration there (that eventually led to building the Kiebitz). Marion
Thanks for your reply Marion. A Kiebitz in the US will probably make people there interested. If my memory is correct there's supposed to be one in Australia too.
And don´t forget the Kiebitzes around the world - especially in Bavaria!!! We´ll see us the next Kiebitz meeting in Sweden - flying formation with mosquitos! Good luck while screwing and assembling. Always happy landings
Hello Paul, you know, mosquitos in face - maybe between the teeth, in the mouth or in the eyes - it ist okay! Mosquitos in the neck - you are too slow!
This wisdom is valid for Kiebitz-pilots and Harley drivers, too.
