I hope someone on this forum can answer a few basic questions.

I am about to mount the bungee cord on the landing gear and I have been informed about the method of a water bucket to tighten the bungees ("schnurr"). How long should the bungee be? I believe the plans says a total of about 10 meters (8 mm bungee) for the gear, but I think the instructions that followed the bungee suggested 8 meters. Would this mean about 2 meters per side of the telescope? That is 4 meters per telescope and thus a total of 8 meters for the gear?

Also, how many "seilklemme" is sufficient to secure the bungee? One or two per loop?
